How to burn

  1. FIRST BURNLet the wax melt edge to edge.
  2. TRIM THE WICKTrim to 5 mm before every burn.
  3. KEEP IT SHORTBurn for no more than 4 hours.
  4. KNOW WHEN TO STOPStop when 1 cm of wax remains.

From soybeans

Soy wax is made from soybean oil, a plant-derived, renewable raw material. It is the foundation of our soy-based candles.

Poured by hand

We work in small batches and pour each candle with care. The process is part of the pleasure — thoughtful making, for thoughtful moments.

A well-cared-for flame

A clean burn depends on the whole candle and how it is used. Keep the wick trimmed and the flame away from drafts to help reduce soot.

What does a clean burn mean?

No burning candle is guaranteed to be soot-free simply because it uses soy. Wax, fragrance, wick design and burning conditions all play a part. Our care guidance helps you look after the flame.

CANDLE CARE

Light it slowly.

Begin well

Let your 200 g candle melt edge to edge on its first burn. The care card suggests 2–3 hours.

Trim the wick

Trim to 5 mm before each burn. Remove trimmings and keep the wick centred.

Know when to stop

Burn for no more than 4 hours. Stop when 1 cm of wax remains.

Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep away from children, pets and flammable objects. Use a level, heat-resistant surface away from drafts. For the 30 g candles, follow the care instructions supplied with the pack.
